Privacy Policy — QuickSnip

QuickSnip (“the extension”) is a browser extension that lets users save reusable text snippets and insert them into web forms.

Data Collection
QuickSnip does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information or user data. All snippets you create (titles, text, categories) are stored locally on your own device using the browser’s built-in storage (chrome.storage.local). This data never leaves your browser and is never sent to any server, including any server operated by DigitaBuddy.

Permissions
– storage: used to save your snippets locally on your device.
– activeTab: used only when you click “Insert,” to place snippet text into the field you have focused on the active tab.
– scripting: used to run a small local script that performs the insert action described above. No remote or external code is used.

Third Parties
QuickSnip does not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking services. No data is shared with third parties.

Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
